Tera & Adriel :: Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

Congratulations to Tera & Adriel who got married on March 10th! Tera is one of my good friends and was a beautiful bride. I loved her dress, which was Vera Wang from David’s Bridal. I also really liked that she choose to wear a birdcage veil…and that she wore red shoes. Tera’s hair and makeup was done by the fabulous Hana-April from Mani Mela Beauty. Their ceremony was held at Chapel Hill Academy with a reception at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. This was a fun wedding party, and I knew that once they hit the dance floor, this group would know how to party…and party they did! Thanks Tera and Adriel for letting me capture your day.

Little baby ‘C’ :: Minneapolis Newborn Photographer

Welcome to the world baby ‘C’! This little one was absolutely adorable, and had so much personality already. She is definitely a chill baby, but if she doesn’t like something, she’ll let ya know with a little ‘hey’ squeal. Since she was happiest on her back, I got creative with those types of poses. I just loved working with her mom, Melody. She was so relaxed about the whole process. Newborn sessions always take a while, and involve a lot of patience. Sometimes I think about how those chain studios get newborn shots when they give them a 15 minute window for the session hoping the baby will be in a good mood. Wow, now that’s stressful! Thank you Melody for being so great and for allowing me to capture these images of your new baby girl. What a wonderful session. Enjoy her preview!

Daphne :: Minneapolis Boudoir Photography

All I can say about this boudoir session is YUM! Daphne was a treat to photograph and she brought along some tasty little treats from the bakery Yum. For her session we focused on a more playful and relaxed style, which I loved. Hana from Mani Mela did a great job on her hair and makeup for the shoot. She did this session as a little birthday present for her man, hence the birthday cupcake! One of my favorites is where she is biting the pearls…it’s hot. Baby ‘e’ :: Minneapolis Newborn Photographer

Meet sweet baby ‘e’. Baby ‘e’ joined the world a little earlier than expected right on Christmas day. Newborn sessions are one of my favorites because, I love love love little babies, I get to be totally creative with them, and they are my biggest challenge. I was so surprised that this little one only soiled one of my blankets. Normally, I have two big loads of laundry to do after these sessions, and the majority of my blankets were dry. Thank you baby ‘e’! She is absolutely adorable, and I had a wonderful time getting to know her and her mom. Enjoy her preview!

Smokin HOT doesn’t even begin to describe this session! Audrey is absolutely beautiful, and I had so much fun working with her. Like usual we had some good laughs during the hair and makeup styling! Hana-April from Mani Mela did her hair and makeup, and she did an absolutely fantastic job. Thanks Hana for letting me help with the lashes again…I like to get involved with the styling! Audrey was super relaxed and really picked up on all of my little posing cues. She rocked the session, and brought one of my favorite outfits from one of my favorite stores, Gilly Hicks! Rachel :: Twin Cities Boudoir Photography

Another boudoir session for 2011! We had a lot of fun and many laughs during this session, especially during the hair and makeup styling. Hana and I always have a good time getting to know our clients and making them feel comfortable…sometimes too comfortable! Hana-April from Mani Mela Beauty did the hair and makeup styling for this shoot, and as usual, she did an outstanding job! Rachel embraced her sexuality and we got some beautiful shots. What a fun session getting to know our new neighbors! They are the sweetest family, and I loved playing with little ‘S’…what a cutie. She hammed it up for me the whole session, and was simply adorable! I thought it was so funny that she kept saying “pink gaga” throughout the session and “goodnight” since we had her on her bed. I loved her bright colored room. We focused mainly on little ‘S’ for the session, but we got a couple family images as well. Enjoy their preview!

Congrats to Adriel and Tera who are getting married on March 10th! This is extra special for me, as Tera is one of my close friends. Their wedding will be held in Chanhassen with a reception at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. We did their e-session downtown Minneapolis near the popular Mill City Museum, and hit many great spots. It was a sunny and windy day, but we managed and had a lot of fun. Tera is going to make one beautiful bride, and I can’t wait to shoot their gorgeous wedding.

With all of this snow and cold weather, it brightened my day to get this blog post up! This was one of the most beautiful fall days this year. Meet Brandon + Jill and their canine child Sophie! What a sweet family. My husband and I have gotten to know Jill and Brandon, and we just love hanging out with them. This session was filled with many laughs and finished with a trip to one of our favorite restaurants the Gold Nugget!

The weather has been beautiful, and it’s perfect for family holiday photos. I have worked with this family a couple of times, and it’s so much fun to see their little one grow. I did mom’s maternity photos and baby Chandler’s newborn photos about 2 years ago. Now he is a handsome little man! I had a lot of fun working with them again. What a fun family!
